Logic skill seems to help the learning of most other skills (although not Athleticism or Charisma).
You can age any Sim up, at any time, by buying a birthday cake and clicking "Blow out candles". You will get a list of every Sim currently in the house, including friends and neighbours; simply select whichever you want to age up.
You can set the Sims' overall lifespan, globally, for all Sims, in Options, or stop Sims ageing altogether, also in Options. With Generations itself, you can set each life-stage length individually, which is much better.
Sims CAN live off the land, or in this case, the city. This is a kinder Benefit State than RL.
BUT - sleeping on the ground only gives 1/2 an hour's sleep.
Do 2 inappropriate things at a friend's house and get kicked out, unless Sim has the Inappropriate Reward.
Teens are still subject to curfew so will be caught by the police.
Sometimes romance just doesn't seem to be in the air, no matter the player's intentions. I have one couple who have lived together for Simyears, have three children, and never kiss except in bed, and still regard one another as "Best Friend". I've never had the propose Engagement option come up on either of them. It seems relationship levels are scored separately for each Sim, and might be bugged.
There are cars, which work similarly to Sims 2 Nightlife cars. However Sims mostly seem to use taxis, or sometimes the underground trains, and will often put their cars in their Inventory and take a taxi...
There are ridable bicycles, and Adult as well as Child Sims will use them, specially those with the Eco-Conscious trait.
Make a meal, store it on the food replicator, and you get a certain number of charges (depends on the quality).
It's good for stocking up on group meals. Once meals are stored, replicate a meal. Upgraded it holds 3 different meals.
Careers placed in the "downtown" neighborhood type, for example in Bridgeport, can have different working hours.
Sometimes a Sim's motives are stuck - he can eat but his bar doesn't increase, etc - this can be due to a glitched lot. First try the cheat testingcheatsenabled true and then shift-click on the mailbox, set needs static, then repeat and set needs dynamic. If that doesn't work, move him out and then back in again to the same lot.
