The Farmer Wants a Wife

Loosely based on the challenge which was initially posted by Hotchpot, but following varied rules as worked out by anjelstar.

Gabe O'Mackey, who is a lonely farmer in Desiderata Valley, is the farmer. He already has a house and a farm and was very reluctant to leave it, so I have built on the extras. He gets some extra land too, to increase the farm... I used the Lot Adjuster for this.

Rules specify it should have altogether:

I'm not creating the Sims for the challenge, but will use eligible Sims from Arodrya. There are plenty of single Sims out there...let them apply!

The contestants must be Sims Gabe hasn't met, adult females, human, and temporarily unemployed so as to avoid problems with carpools.

Also record the skill points for each at the start.

Day 1: Meet and Greet

Juliette Capp, bored with her life, one of the contestants for the Farmer Wants a Wife contest.

All 7 ladies move in.

See who the Farmer is most compatible with. At the start of day 1, Farmer should do two chats and a "Check Sim Out" with each contestant Sim.

Bolts

This is what Anjelstar calls the "First Impression Clause".  Chemistry matters! If a Sim has more chemistry, the farmer is more strongly attracted to her, no?

1 bolt = 5 points,

2 bolts = 10 points ...

but instead of 3 bolts only being 15 points, it will be 20 points!

At 6 PM (or whenever your Farmer has done two chats and a "Check Sim Out" with each contestant Sim), one lady must go!

Calculating the scores for Day One

Add each contestant's relationship score (from the Farmer's point of view) PLUS five points for each lightning bolt.

The person with the lowest score leaves. 6 contestants remain.

Day 2: Farming and Fishing

In the morning, all the contestants should be instructed to Tend the garden and the orchard. They are told only once. If they walk away, that's it.

In the afternoon, all contestants go fishing, at the same time, in the pond.  They are told only once. If they walk away, that's it.

Whoever has the most fish by 6 PM cannot be eliminated.

Calculating the scores for Day Two

Relationship score (from the Farmer's point of view)

PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt

PLUS 5 points for each boot caught

PLUS 10 points for each fish caught.

The person with the lowest score leaves. 5 contestants remain.

Day Three: Farming and Cooking

Just as Day Two, the contestant Sims must tend the garden and orchard.

After that, make sure that everyone's needs are at about the same level, and tell each contestant Sim to study Cooking. If they will not, that is up to them. They are only told ONCE.

During this day, the Farmer should do one share interests and one gossip with each contestant.

Calculating the scores for Day Three

Relationship score

PLUS 5 points for each Cooking point

PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt

PLUS 10 points if the Farmer has a Crush

PLUS 20 points if the Farmer sees them as Best Friends.

The person with the lowest score goes home. 4 contestants remain.

Day Four: Tidying and Dining Out

In the morning, the contestants study cleaning, as for cooking above.

In the afternoon, the Farmer should form a casual group with all the remaining Sims and go on a group dinner date.

Calculating the scores for Day Four

Relationship score

PLUS 5 points for each Cooking Point

PLUS 10 points for a crush

PLUS 20 points for Best Friends

PLUS 10 points per lightning bolt

The person with the lowest score goes home. 3 contestants remain.

Day Five: Brains and Dancing

All contestant Sims sit down at their own chessboard, until 6 PM or until they all get up and leave.

Get everyone's needs level up to about the same place and have them all go out for a group date-this time dancing!

Calculating the scores for Day Five

Relationship score

PLUS 5 points for each Logic Point

PLUS 10 points for a crush

PLUS 20 points for Best Friends

PLUS 10 points per lightning bolt

PLUS, if the Farmer is in love with any contestant Sim, they get 50 extra points.

The person with the lowest score goes home. 2 contestants remain.

Day Six: Dating, the Last Battle

The Farmer goes on a Private Date/Outing SEPARATELY with each of the two remaining contestant Sims.

On the date attempt flirting and kissing.

A kiss is 30 points.

A makeout is 50.

A woohoo is 100.

If the farmer rejects a proposal of any of these, you will subtract 10 points from the final score.

Final calculation of Scores

Farmer's Relationship score

PLUS Contestant's relationship score

Add up all the skillpoints your contestant Sim has gleaned: 10 points per point
PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt.
PLUS 10 points for a crush
PLUS 20 points for Best Friends
PLUS 50 points for in Love
PLUS for any badges gained:

Bronze Badge = 5 points

Silver Badge = 10 points

Gold Badge = 15 points

PLUS the score for the FInal Date

Hazard Pay - if any Contestant is struck by lightening or gets electrocuted (and survives!) she gets an extra 25 points. Thanks to Captain Chaotica for this idea. (Because severe accidents are very good for the ratings, and this is, after all, a Network show. (But catching 'flu does not count.)

Contestants who did not win will be paid for their appearance in the show with §20K and returned to the Families Bin, from whence they may return to their old lives. The Farmer also receives a §20K wedding present from the production company, since we used his existing farm.
