Whipple Van Buren Phillips an American businessman was orphaned when his father
Jeremiah was killed in a mill accident; he caught his coattails in the machinery.
Whipple ran a store in Moosup Valley and invented a fringe-trimming machine
and made his money. Whipple ran the successful Owyhee Land and Irrigation Company.
In 1900 a dam built by his company on the Snake River in Idaho failed, as did
a replacement dam. He was forced to sell off personal property to avoid complete
ruin.
Married Whipple, had five children with him. Harold Phillips' father Winfield Scott Lovecraft died, after years of being institutionalized as acutely psychotic in the Providence psychiatric institution, Butler Hospital, Roby and Whipple took Harold and his mother Sarah in and raised Harold with their other daughters.
She married Winfield Scott Lovecraft, a traveling salesman of jewelry and precious metals. He died after years of psychosis in the local hospital.
Sarah Susan and Winfield Scott Lovecraft had one son,
The whole family initially live together in one large house, though Edwin in particular wants to move out and establish his own family home.
The Sims were made without any custom content. For realism, they should be dressed in turn-of-the-century or Edwardian fashion. (HPL was bort in 1890). They have not met anyone (made in a new clean neighbourhood) and you can download just the family on an empty Lot if you wish. Would work very well in a Steampunk setting.

"When H P Lovecraft was a little boy, he lived with his retired grandfather, grandmother, 3 aunts and an uncle. Now that Grandfather's company has failed, the aunts and uncles will have to find work. Can little Harold become a successful writer as he grows up?" (At this point his father had already died).
