"When the Viking apocalypse, Ragnarok, came and went the people of the Earth didn't think that anything of great significance had happened. But a group of scientists lead by an older gentleman with a remarkable goatee went to a dark, foreboding cave after reports from locals of strange goings on and noises emitting from it. RULES
All GoS usual rules apply.
Only Maxis sims can be used to breed. No NPCs (Pollination Technician, Grim
Reaper, etc.).
No face default replacements can be used .
No plastic surgery or skintone change can be done.
Use different Maxis sim per generation.
You may produce 3 children per generation but only one can be used to produce
the next generation.
Pictures and names of all the parents/gene donors is a must.
You should post a family tree (similar to the template) image as well as a bigger
picture of your final sim
You may post up to three pictures of the result child (spawn 3).
You may use Insimenator or equivalent to speed up the process.
This has always been a very popular contest but we came to conclusion that it
is pointless to have a contest with over 100 entries so this time it is a challenge,
like the sim challenge, the only prize is the fun you get by breeding those
genes out.
I missed the deadline for this contest :( so am playing it just for fun. It's set in Verona, with no custom Sims.
Since I missed the deadline on GOS, my plan for this Legacy is slightly different; I am aiming to breed out the strong features while keeping the red skin. I don't even know if it's possible. But that means that Remus will have to be the heir for Generation 3.
I gave them 1 Motherlode to begin with, as poverty isn't part of this challenge and they have plenty to deal with. The house is devceloped from a default Verona house, but much enlarged, including some Lot Adjuster changes, and decorated in Ragnarok's own personal style.
The cheat to grow up quickly was helpful here:
Open Cheat Box. boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true
Shift-Click on the sim (make selectable first if they are a baby) and choose set to birthday.
Control-Click on Sim and Spawn the Tombstone of L & D is helpful to speed pregnancies.
